Greetings fellow game music lovers,

another Saturday, another Mega Man day. Again from Mega Man 2 from 1987. This time it is about Mega Man 2 Wily ... 2! (sorry to get your hopes up!). Nevertheless, you hear this tune still often enough to get it stuck in your head for a looong time:

This was once an outtake entry, but now I decided to make it a full entry now that I have some more material.

I assume the song is a variant of many dystopian synth pop songs that started emerging from the late 70s. Examples:
