Featuring Mega Man 2 and Calypso.
Greetings fellow game music lovers,
caribbean series is in full swing and after Mario we now have a look at another great game series of the 80s: Mega Man.
I already mentioned possible influences on the Cut Man theme from Mega Man 1 in two recent tweets of mine:

Consequently, it feels appropriate to continue with the second part from 1988 now. And when it comes to caribbean sounding music, there is one song in particular that catches your ear: Quick Man's stage theme:
There is a solid numbero of Calypso songs that was released around the time the game was popular with a very similar rhythm and feeling. Let's go!
