First impressions can be a bitch.
From the moment the press went bonkers over the Nintendo 3DS at last years E3, I was buying into the hype. No glasses 3-D in a handheld system sounded amazing. I was hearing how vastly improved the graphics were on Nintendos new machine, and I began to get excited about a powerful system that may actually convert me into a mobile gamer.
Although the launch titles have been terribly underwhelming, I still needed to see it for myself. Every report I have heard is that when you get it into your hands things will click, and you will be amazed.
Fortunately the Target store I frequent had a 3DS kiosk, and there was no one playing when I walked by last weekend. I eagerly played the game it had running of Pilot Wings, but after 10 minutes I was left wanting.
