Ok, last question about SMT IV: got the chaos ending, watched the lawful on YouTube. Should I watch the neutral or play it? How quick is the reincatnated NG+ playthrough?

Aaaand Shin Megami Tensei IV is done! It feels like some sections drag a little bit too much, it could be a bit shorter, but it was a really solid, stylish and fun piece of RPG! Chaos route is done, but I don't think I have it in me to do the Neutral one

Even after all these years, my heart still has a Sup Holmes shaped hole on it. It was my first podcast and the only one I listened to for a good while. Nowadays I do listen other stuff, but I still think about this one from time to time

Shin Megami Tensei IV status: finally finished that quest that asks you to pay 150k only to find it was optional? Reached a point where as much as I enjoyed it I just want the game to finish soon, but luckly I think I'm about to get into the final stretch

Woah this new open Sonic game they announced today sure looks amazing, huh?

Laptop update: looks like both the hinges and the lid of my Nitro 5 got busted, according to the repairmen is due to manufacturer fucking up and tightening the hinges A LOT on this model, and this will cost like 1/4 of the price I paid for the whole PC

Cannon Spike was basically a shmup + beat 'em up hybrid and it was freaking bonkers, one of Dreamcast's finest #underratedmonday

Left my laptop on the repair shop this morning, it seems that the left hinge got fucked (thanks Acer!). Not looking forward to going cold turkey with Magic Arena, but I do think that more time with my 3DS and Mega Drive will be a nice change of pace.

Also, finished Sonic & Knuckles for the billionth time, then decided to reinstall Sonic Generations and... the controls and gameplay sucks a lot more than I remember?

My Acer laptop hinge/lid partially broke from regular usage, and I'll take it to repair tomorrow, which means that I'll have to involutanrily take a time off from playing Magic Arena :/

Aaaaand I didnt make it to the money prize on the day 2 of Arena Open. Managed to draft the stinkiest White+Blue+Green deck and even then SOMEHOW I went 3-2. But hey, not bad at all, never thought I could get so far :D

Heck yeah I've made it to the Day 2 of the Arena Open! Went with a Black + Blue sealed deck splashing a bit of White, pretty focused and strong. Let's hope I don't fuck up the draft tomorrow!

Mother's day loot: got a bunch of old bootleg Mega Drive cartridges and I'm about to test them to see which ones are still working, hope Sonic 2 is allright

Weekend videogame aquisitions: got Hot Wheels Unleashed's new Monster Truck expansion and also Star Wars Episode I Racer PC port

Oh, and I started playing Monster Hunter Rise this week, and holy buttcheeks the village theme is, like, REALLY GOOD? I mean, all the village themea are great, but this one is bananas

Welp, finally had to have "the talk" about adult stuff with 3 yo son. I thought it would still take a year or two, but yesterday I finally talked about democracy with him (he asked me why Mayor Humdinger was a mayor)

So, Sonic Origins looks freaking sweet, but Sega is not only not doing regional prices here but charging more for the Brazilian base game than the US premium edition so yeah, that will be a hard pass

Looks like Sega wanted to take advantage of the Sonic 2 hype and increased the Brazilian prices up to effing 170%! They seem to have increased also in other places too, like Argentina. Thankfully I had already bought mostly everything I wanted.

That Chrono Cross review reminded me that a few years ago I did a pool here asking which game I should play first: Chrono Trigger or Earthbound, and you folks picked CT. Thank you all a lot, I enjoyed it a lot more than Earthbound haha :p

So, Magic Arena - possibly the CCG with the most predatory economy of them - decided to release on April's Fools the best event they ever did (chaos sealed) almost for free.

Decided to start writing a new cblog series, a good old gaming journal. I'm almost finishing writing about what I've been playing in February... on March 25th! Having fun, but wanna finish it before the month ends haha

Wanna go back at making games/game-ish things, really wanted to be a jack of all trades (3d modeling, programming and music) but I dont have time for it all. If I were to pick 1 currently would be either 3D/music but maybe I dont have time for even that
