TGIF Open Thread!

Goood morning Destructoid! It's that extra special day of the week! It's Friday, get your shit on sale edition!

Still can't upload gifs soooo jumping right into it! Last weekend, the gf tested positive for covid. So early this week, I had my test annnd positive it was. It's been a fun week! Luckily, our symptoms are nothing to be worried about. We were just getting our asses kicked earlier in the week. We feel much better now but are still waiting to test negative and feel 100%. The worst of it for me was a colossal headache that came and went as it pleased and a weird eye pressure that felt like some pissed off ghost was trying to gouge my right eye out. Good times. Anyways, as you can imagine, Thanksgiving was spent at home together. Luckily, some of her family live close by now and dropped off some holiday goodies on our doorstep for us to enjoy. It was really kind of them so we got to enjoy Thanksgiving that way.

We rented Bullet Train with Brad Pitt while we ate our food and that movie is honestly fucking awesome. It's all sorts of wtf crazy in all the right ways. It was a fun time and I definitely recommend it. We also FINALLY watched Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk all the way through. I mostly liked both but neither really stood out as a great time for me and I don't see either getting rewatched for me. I liked Ms. marvel and her family but the action and overall story was kinda boring. I enjoyed most of the comedy in She-Hulk and some of the action but the 4th wall breaking was not done in a great way. At least I thought it was dumb but oh well.

Other then picking up a bunch of shit I don't need on sale online for the next few days, I'm going to spend more time with the gf and rest up. Play some more God of War and GTA4 and hope I feel completely better by the end of the weekend. We'll see!

I'm thankful for all of you! I'm not thankful for Covid. That can fuck right off haha.
