TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

Happy it is as it has been a long week for me. Glad to be working again though! I'm no longer losing my mind with bordom. Just learning a lot of new systems and having an incoming info overload this week sooo I'm ready for a break. Currently writing this while I'm on a 15 min break then right back to work for another 7 hours.

We saw that movie Barbarian in theatres and it was good but weeeeeird and totally not what we were expecting. Like, not at all lol. Really brutal though and I think I can recommend it haha. Think we're going to stop going to the theatre closest to us though as once again, we had two dickheads being a pain in the ass and messing around and talking throughout the entire movie. Wanted to slap the shit out of them as that shit drives me crazy. Was able to process and enjoy what I just watched a bit more when I got home and calmed down. Shitty that people ruin movie experiences like that for others though. Oh well. Two new upcoming horror movies we're excited to go see a few weeks after they release and that's "Smile" annnnd...a new movie about a nun fighting off posessions and what not that I can't remember the name of but the trailer made it look awesome...so that one too lol.

This will be a relaxing weekend. Yard work is done so the HOA can go to hell. No big plans. Just get in some more play time with Deathloop, which is definitely interesting and fun but I'm wondering how long it can hold my attention with just 4 levels to explore over and over again. Still chugging away at the very long but very awesome Divinity: Original Sin 2. Can't recommend that one enough.
