TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

Currently inhaling my coffee and oh is it so damn good. Having a good coffee maker at home makes a big difference. My week was a week. Not a lot happened as I'm sure you can all imagine lol I'm enjoying the time off until my new job starts but at the same time, kinda wishing I had that nifty ability to sit and wait as hours and days just magically fly by. They make it look so easy in the games. It's not.

Gf and I watched two new movies this week. Well not in theatre but newish, you get the point. First up was that new Sandra Bullock movie The Lost City. The gf and I have always enjoyed her movies and this one was no different. It was cute and funny. Had a lot of good moments. Next up, we watched the much hated Morbius! It finally came to Netflix so we finally got to watch it for free. It was far from great...It wasn't very good BUT I will say I didn't hate it half as much as the internet seemed to. It had some enjoyable moments. I'd still push it waaay to the bottom of the Marvel barrel though. Plus, I just couldn't stop giggling in the middle of the movie as I kept thinking of all the actors getting annoyed with Leto for his fake limping across the set and taking up to 45 minute bathroom breaks because of it lol

Taking little lady Luna to the vet on Saturday to get her ear checked out. Her and Brock play fight all the time which is fine, but Brock likes going for the ears which unfortunately led to a big bump on her ear that we have to get checked out. Hopefully the visit isn't to expensive but we want to get it taken care of before it potentially gets worse. Other then that, no plans this weekend. Going to chill with the gf, watch the new House of the Dragon episode and relax.
