TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

This has been an interesting week. Work is going good. Still feel like the new kid but that will pass. Pretty sure they're going to allow me to work from home soon so that'll be really nice. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it.

The gf and I might be taking a California trip. We've planned a trip at the end of August to stay in a hotel right next to the beach and we're taking the dogs. So we're going to take them to the dog beach for their first time and I'm sure they're going to love every second of it. Pretty excite for that.

However, today I also surprise planned a Hawaii trip for next year. The gf is beyond excited and so am I. Never been there but always wanted to go. I went over the budget and it will be expensive but we can definitely make it happen. We'll be booking a hotel room with an ocean view for about 6 days and I'm really looking forward to it. Lazy days on the beach, get some hiking in, visit a Hawaiian zoo and maybe even try to tackle surfing for the first time. Also thinking about renting some jet skis as that just sounds like a good time. It's safe to say we're both really looking forward to this trip.

No big weekend plans other then taking my anxiety filled pup Brock to the vet for his yearly check up. Fuuuun. Other then that, get some chores around the house done and just relax.
