TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

Well yesterday was my official last day working at the hospital. Definitely a bitter sweet feeling as I really liked working with my team and for the most part, enjoyed my job. Got nervous excitement for the new job. I'm sure I'll do great but you know, normal new job jitters. Mostly looking forward for training to be over so I can start working from home 4 days out of the week. That will be niiiice.

Last weekend, the gf and I went to go see Everything Everywhere All At Once and it was incredible! 10 out of 10, I highly recommend. I went in not knowing exactly what to expect but knew it was going to be weird and crazy but holy shit. It was outstanding. Hilarious and heartfelt but the performances given were some of the best I've seen in a long time. I was very impressed and I think a lot of the community here will enjoy it as well.

This weekend, I plan on relaxing as I have a nice little 3 day break before I start training at my new job on Monday. We decided to watch the new Batman movie at home since it's now on HBO Max and it's 3 hours long and that's a long time to hold in our pee at the theatre lol. I think we're going to start that later tonight and I'm really looking forward to it since I keep hearing great things about it.

Still playing and loving the absolute hell out of Elden Ring. It's so damn good and I can't help but be impressed with the world From Soft has built. I'm 130 hours in and there's still plenty I have left to see. I think I'm near the end of the actual game but I'm putting it off so I can explore more lol
