TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's once again that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

Not a lot to report this week. I took a few mental days off from work just to give myself a break from all the bs. Happy I did so too because I'm feeling a lot more relaxed on a Friday then I normally do. Sometimes all we really need to do is take some time to reflect and reset. Back at it again on Sunday.

Hoping one of the new job opportunities I'm working on comes through. I'll find out a bit more on Monday and see where to go from there. If that doesn't work out, I'll just continue searching. Plenty out there just got to decide on what exactly what I want to settle for. I'm thinking something in my health insurance field but working my happy ass from home. No more commute.

Made a bunch of progress in Elden Ring but still have a lot to go. Some of these bosses are insanely difficult but still just so damn fun to get punished by. Hell, some of the regular enemies roaming the world are more disgusting and difficult to deal with then some of the mini bosses. Kinda crazy when you think about it but that's a Souls game for you.

No really big plans this weekend. Gonna get some chores done and hangout with the gf and pups. Maybe do a bit more job hunting online and see what I find. Think I'll take the dogs to the dog park as well. They always have so much fun when we go.
