It's been almost a year since we've defeated The End. But now we're back and we have Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as playable characters! We go live with the continuation of Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon DLC! https://twitch.tv/virtuakazama

This month is going to be a really busy month for gaming.

#55 Game beaten in 2023 is: Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate. Learnt my lesson: I'm not going to play Lords of Shadows 2 after this. The good intentions are there, like decent boss battles, but everything else is bland, soulless & repetitive 2/5

32 Bit Library is now available right through Amazon for $29 in softcover and $49 in hardcover. It has been revised, re-edited, and redesigned into a 6" x 9" trade-sized book. Check it out here: https://a.co/d/2OAQnhD

Apparently there will be a Friday the 13th, a solar eclipse, and a blood moon lunar eclipse this month. When the last occurs, all monsters will respawn and abandoned items in the world will be purged from system memory. Spookiest October.

The downside of a great harvest of mushrooms is that you won't go foraging them all that many times. I'm already done for the year.

Welp, it's Orctober time again, unfortunately it may be the last this year considering how the sites going. Also don't have much to do this year either so I'll finally turncoat and embrace Spooktober lol. Gonna be a hodge podge of stuff this year...

F-Zero 99 has done what I considered near impossible: it's made me want to give the SNES original a more serious shot. Well, emulated version of it anyway.

#28 Movie of 2023: Gran Turismo. Of the movie surprises of the year, maybe? Went expecting nothing as I've only seen my brother playing the games up to GT6, but this is darn immersive. A racing biopic made for gamers, all right. Really well done. 10/5.

Weekly Update, here are the games I am currently playing. I am going to review those within brackets once completed: -[Jade Cocoon (PS1)] -Daemon X Machina (Switch) -Indivisible (Switch) -Resident Evil 3 Remake (PS4/5)

Some late night shenanigans going on... Another mini painted! This 40 year old lad is from the ole Runequest line and possibly the only painted example that exists lol. This is also the only decent angle as his head is lopsided and the other eye is wonky.

Shoot em Ups are something so great. Here are some you should definitely buy during this Steam Fest.

#54 Game beaten in 2023 is: Castlevania Lords of Shadow. I did not like it. I tried, twice, but the level design (among other creative choices), camera, and over explanatory new canon just didn't click. Why most levels had to end too abruptly? 1.5/5.

Tonight on Fortune Roulette: Sonic Frontiers new DLC drops tonight, but we're not gonna play that until Monday. But we will play Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit! https://twitch.tv/virtuakazama

The days aren't that short yet, but in case someone might be interested, a Silent Hill music concert in Södertälje, Sweden, 12th of October 2019.

#27 Movie of 2023: Bottoms. Gotta admit I only watched this to see one actor in particular, and was surprised how over the top, weird, and refreshing this comedy turns out to be. A modern superbad? Maybe, either way the writing is clever & funny. 4.5/5.
