Got a new job which is a big step up role-wise, pays about 10% more and will allow me to relocate to a cheaper area. Sucks that I just signed a year's lease that took effect 5 days ago and it will cost about $3000 to break it.

As someone who owns a PS5, and only used his Xbox One to play Halo 5 and Master Chief Collection, I kinda want a Series X. Given my collection of 360 games and knowing Microsoft's next console will support them (and next-gen games) is very enticing.

Just finished building my MG Zeta Gundam 2.0. Kind of disappointed. Debating which Gunpla to build next. I have an MG RX-93 Ver. Ka, MG Full-Armor Gundam Ver. Ka, and an HG Atlas Gundam. Built plenty of MGs but I am kind of intimidated by the Ver. Kas.

If anybody is even slightly interested in anime, I highly recommend you watch Thunderbolt Fantasy. It can be found on Crunchyroll, it is absolutely fantastic and season 3 starts next week. Oh also the whole show is made with puppets.

The Snyder Cut was way more similar to the theatrical cut than I thought it would be. If a WB exec gave me the Snyder Cut and told me to make it less than 2 hours, I would probably end up with something close to the theatrical cut.

In August 2018, I bought Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 to try to beat all the games before 3 came out in January 2019. It only took me 2 years longer than intended but as of last night, I completed them all. But, I don't know if I want to play 3 anymore.

I ended up buying Ys IX from Amazon Warehouse Deals in Used-Like New condition. I got it today and the game came in this weird plastic wrap with a bar code, but when I opened that, I found the game was completely sealed in factory wrap. Nice surprise.

Anybody know how good NISA is about restocking their games? I was hoping to pick up Ys IX on PS4, but Gamestop, Best Buy, Target and Wal-mart are sold out, and Amazon has it for above MSRP.

Saw LRG announced a Collector's Edition of No More Heroes 1 and 2 which look amazing. However it is very hard to justify spending $140 plus shipping/tax for games I can buy digitally for $40 (especially since NMH3 box won't match the CE's).

Due to the Pokemon announcements, I am on a bit of a Pokemon kick. May go through and try to complete the living dex on Sword. I need 105 more.

I am glad we are finally getting a video game based on the Oldboy/Daredevil Hallway Fight Scene.

Stargirl is one of the best live-action DC shows, second only to Watchmen. It moving to the CW could completely kill this series. Also I think I can say without hesitation that Geoff Johns is the best superhero creator currently working.

Picked up Avengers used from Gamefly for $15 and spent the weekend playing it. Maybe it is because I have been on a huge Marvel kick but honestly the game is great so far. It is not perfect and not as great as PS4 Spider-Man but it's really fun.

Posting my backlog here so I am more committed to getting some games off of it before I pick anything else up. I at least need beat 13 Sentinels and TMS before I pick up anything else.

I signed up for Marvel Unlimited earlier this week and have been tearing through all of their most recent series. As someone who prefers DC, I definitely think Marvel's output has been blowing them out of the water. Series I have read in the comments.

Death Metal #7 finished and with it, I am officially out of getting new comics every Wednesday. Couldn't ask for a better issue to go out on. Can't wait for Omnibuses of DC's upcoming series (mostly Tom Taylor Nightwing).

So I beat the prologue for 13 Sentinels and now I see it’s letting me choose between the battles and story parts. Is there any recommended order to play through? I may just tear through the battles since I enjoy the story parts more.

I think one my top gaming moment of 2020 was getting the PS5 and playing through Astro's Playroom with my girlfriend and brother. Trying to figure out what games were being referenced was so much fun and a fantastic start to next-gen.

This is surprising. I did not think I played this much Animal Crossing.

Started Tokyo Mirage Sessions last night after finishing up Xenoblade DE. Had I started this game earlier, it definitely would've been in my top 5 of 2020. Highly underrated.

Just beat Detention. Absolutely fantastic game. Creative puzzles and a fantastic story. Definitely recommend. Would love for Devotion to get released if it’s even half as good.

I feel like Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is getting overlooked. Yes, it is a remake but the graphics have been completely overhauled, alongside new menus and a new epilogue lasting about 10 hours. It is one of 2020's best Switch games.
