The latest Ziggurat 2 update is pretty nice! We get several new weapons, 2 new player characters, and some amulets. The Archon Staff excels at crowd control and is one of my favorite weapons of this update.

Happy Independence Day! Might want to turn your headphones down.

Possible spoiler for Doom Eternal DLC in the comments below.

Well, Sony is run by petty cowards. They decided to not give Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation a review code for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart cause they apparently didn't like ZP's focus and tone.

I got a case of Mountain Dew Baja Flash and regretted it. The scent of the soda is quite strong, as is the taste of the pineapple and coconut. It is far too sweet, and arguably worse than pineapple Pepsi.

I guess the dirtbags that run these organizations never heard of the Cleansing of the Temple. Congress should amend the law to force HCSMs to actually help people.

A tornado touched down in my County today, hitting houses and power lines. I don't live in the town where it appeared, but it's still surprising to me. Tornadoes are rare in Michigan. Stay safe folks. Having a reliable generator can be useful.

I think the best looking Nerf shotgun is the Saturn XX-1000. The Takedown XX-800 looks kinda weird to me.

After completing the Steam Forge Your Fate series, I got the Gorilla Scientist avatar frame. What frames did you get, Dtoiders?

I had a Home Run Inn pizza. It was pretty decent, and I am glad they used bacon instead of hamburger. It would have been nice if the crust was taller and fluffier, though. :/

Dread Templar looks pretty cool, and the inclusion of bullet time is an interesting design choice. I'm definitely liking this revival of fast paced FPS's, though I prefer a save at any time save system.

In the comments below, I'm going to talk about various demos I played through Steam Next Fest.

I got a pizza from Newman's Own. It was a thin crust pizza, and while the flavor and amount of pepperoni were okay, it was extremely lacking in cheese. It was disappointing.

I wish game devs would talk more about hilarious glitches that never made it to the public build.

A couple of standout demos from Steam Next Fest: Kingdom Gun is kinda like a combination of Risk of Rain 1 and Enter the Gungeon with 3 player characers, including a zombie princess. They Always Run is a platformer about a three armed bounty hunter.

Here's a GOG discount code for Into the Breach: NMGN487454BD30ACA1 Not sure what the percentage is.

As much as I like my Craftsman dual line trimmer, it eats through cutting line like Kirby eats through a large feast. Does anyone here prefer eating watermelon sections taken from the ends, rather than the middle of the fruit?

Why are there so few video games with Nazis as the bad guys? They could be a lot more fun to fight and kill in massive numbers than some gen brand outlaw, bandit, or psycho mook gang. I don't care if space/cyber/fantasy Nazis is a silly idea.

LOADS of new demos available through Steam Next Fest, along with some returning demos. Might need to clear some space off of the storage drive.

To anyone who has played the BloodRayne games, what are your thoughts on them and are they worth playing to completion?

Yocci meowing and purring like a cat is just too cute and wholesome!

For-profit prisons need to be made illegal and shutdown immediately and forever. If governments can waste money on stupid shit like endless wars, tax cuts for the rich, subsidies for the fossil fuel industry, they can afford installing air conditioning.

About Electric Reaperone of us since 10:55 AM on 08.12.2013

I am a gamer who prefers games that are more about action than story; especially shooters, action RPG's and hack-and-slashers. I often don't care that much about a video game's story, and instead focus on the weapons instead: how they sound, how they fire/attack, how they look, how they function, and how the more unusual weapons may work. Sometimes a game may be great in just about every category, but I might just ignore it for using boring conventional guns that I've shot a million times.

I am into sci-fi, supernatural, and mecha anime/TV shows/movies/games. I don't care that much about photorealism, unless it drags the gameplay down.

Over the years, I have seen a lot of stupid/unwanted things in the video game industry. Online passes for multiplayer, on-disc downloadable content, day one DLC in Mass Effect 3, pre-order bonuses for Brink, multiple versions of Evolve, collector's edition for the first Watch Dogs game, microtransactions in Dead Space 3, and more. I have also seen things that get in the way of the customer accessing the game they legally bought. SecuROM in Crysis, Games For Windows Live in Red Faction Guerilla (removed over a year ago) SecuROM AND GFWL in Bioshock 2 (both removed years ago), always online DRM in Dead Space 2, Origin in Mass Effect 3, and Denuvo anti-tamper in Doom 4 (it might not get in the way of playing the game but I still have a deep-seated hatred for it). Why does the game industry keep doing this crap? Is ticking off your customers with these draconian measures really worth a week or a few months of zero piracy?
