I'm legitimately loving this game. Combat is incredibly fun and I love their take on the job system. Definitely not perfect. The level design is hit or miss and the main character is a complete dork but overall, there's a lot to enjoy here.

Blew past my yearly goal of beating at least 30 new games and beat a total of 53! Busy year. Top 5 for me would be Elden Ring, Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima, Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Triangle Strategy. Full list in comments.

High on Life was surprisingly good. Beat it last night and I walked away pretty impressed. Not all the jokes land but there was actually a lot of really funny moments. The guns are a blast to use and exploring the alien worlds was a good time.
Guess I actually put a little more time into my PS5 this year. I did play it for like 2 months straight when I finally got the PS5 and had access to PS Plus and all the wonderful games I've missed out on. Also, not surprised ER is my most played of 2022.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands surprised me. Took a few hours to warm up to it but the game quickly grew on me and after the credits rolled, became my 2nd fav borderlands game right behind BL2. Borderlands as a D&D campaign was a good time.

Not bad. Played a lot once I got my PS5 in June. I'm curious to see my Xbox numbers since that's my primary console.
The more I see from Diablo 4, the more I'm incredibly excited for it. Think I'll probably play as a Druid first. After that, Sorceress? Barb? Necromancer? Not sure but damn am I excited to try each class out.
Forspoken demo was actually pretty damn fun and I can only imagine the main game being even more of a blast with more spells to play around with. Runs well in performance mode and the game still looks great. Gorgeous world. Looking forward to this one.

Beat Ragnarok last night and I loved it so very much. Story wise, it's my game of the year. Overall game of the year still probably goes to Elden Ring for me.
