So, am I terrible at Elden Ring/Souls-combat, or does ER punish medium-load character? My character's dodge is only at "eh" levels while every combo decimates his stamina. Either I'm not handling combat right or I need to go naked.

Elden Ring's worst optional boss (so far) has given way to one of my greatest video game triumphs. It took hours of humiliating practice, but the results speak for themselves. Video in comments, marking early game optional encounter and area spoilers.
Happy birthday to Jetter, Limo and Vxxy! I hope you'll get to relax and enjoy your day, and maybe even get a gift or eight!
I guess everybody has a job, wife and kids until Elden Ring comes out.
Man,those Elden Ring bosses aren't fucking around, are they? I'm sure I missed a bunch of early game optional ones, but [spoiler in comments] trashed my ass for an embarrasing number of tries.
I'm playing Elden Ring, while ny GF who has no prior experience with Soulsborne, is guiding the character build. As far as challenge runs go, this one's pretty fun. Guess I'm playing a sneaky mage.
A year ago I played Returnal but had to stop midway through when life got in the way, hard. Now I'm back on the cycle, made some nice progress, but I can't for the life of me recall the plot so far. Anyone able to help verify what I still remember?
I was today years old when I found out you could use PS shared play to play couch co-op games online. This is the kind of usability feature I'm suprised isn't making some suit somewhere furious. Anyway, Streets of Rage 4 let's GOOOOOOOO
To anyone interested in Horizon's accessibility options (you know, the small indie game releasing a week before Elden Ring), Guerilla Games have outlined the fairly massive list that'll be available in-game. Link in comments.
I had no idea this was a thing, but I'm here for it.
Just realized that a Sony's AAA games are taking 5 years to produce a sequel (accounting for COVID). With talks of inflating costs & a push for GaaS w/ Bungie's purchase, I wonder if their SP-only games will be getting sidelined, let alone new SP-only IPs
Finished It Takes Two with my SO last night. Very fun & impressive game. We did think it felt a bit long in places, over-relying on Rule-of-Threes design. Also, the writing was absolute shit, and cutscenes could go on forever. A movie adaptation? Yeesh.
Steadily moving through Disco Elysium. The game's writing and my views on life in my 30's, along with a growing disillusionment with the state of the world, are becoming dangerously intertwined. Sorry Cop, or Sorry Man? I am ready to rebuild communism.
So, uh, Disco Elysium: I don't really know that you can be terrible at this game, but I feel like I'm being exactly that. Every quest feels like it ends in failure, leaving me lost, and progression feels incremental. Bit of a life simulator, then?
