With the recent news of a supposed Skies of Arcadia remaster, I've been listening to this. Good were the times when I was teaching in classrooms with this on the background while preparing my classes. Best game not many people have played? Indeed.

Almost ten years later, I finally own Mario Kart 8. I had played it before on Switch but on WiiU it looks just about the same, which is amazing. Playing on an 20 CRT TV is great. Old games look like they were supposed to, and newer ones look crisp as well
Another series of posts I'll be sharing: TV shows I've been watching this year. #1 TV Show of 2023 is: The Last Of Us. The game was ok, overrated if you ask me, but this didn't do it for me. I hope to play the 2nd game before next season airs. 2.5/5.
New series of posts here: movies I have watched as the year goes, plus a few thoughts. So: #1 Movie of 2023 is Megan. The marketing this movie had seriously got many thinking this would be a waste of time, and believe me, it is not. 3.5/5. Had its moments
#20 Game beaten in 2023 is: Zelda Breath of the Wild. It's true what they say: the feeling of the very 1st game on the NES is very present here, alongside the wow factor from Ocarina of Time. Bosses could have been harder, but this is a triumph. 4.5/5.
#19 Game beaten in 2023 is: Alien Isolation. Seeing this game in a variety of lists got my attention, so I went to watch the first 2 movies. They are great, and the intention to bring that feeling here was present. Hit and miss, but appreciated. 3/5.
#18 Game Beaten In 2023 is: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. This is practically the Duodecim of the 1st one, but it doesn't feel like an improvement. The visual novel mode plays the same so no, thank you. At least I now know where 'Tsukuyomi' comes from. 3/5.
#17 Game beaten in 2023 is: Demon's Souls. As shown, this was GameSpot's GOTY in 2009 when I used to blog there. I was intrigued and seeing Atlus only amplified that. I congratulate me for playing this now. 5/5. Feeling Ocarina of Time's greatness again.
Funny how I have reached 500 posts here when I thought no social media-like site would ever convince to. Even funnier is that I wanted to celebrate the feat with a selfie and turns out today is #SelfieSunday so, great. You guys are worth my time online.
#16 Game beaten in 2023 is: Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe. People had told me this wasn't good, but I needed to try for myself. They were right. There is fun to be had being a fan of both licenses, but the flaws are everywhere. 2.5/5. MK9 was much needed.
Ghost Trick for Switch? So glad more people are going to be able to play this gem.
#15 Game beaten in 2023 is: Infamous. Continuing my streak of playing new genres, Infamous convinced me into the 'open world' one. This game's creativity sure had me plugged in, though that saving system is not well implemented. 4/5. Cole is a badass.
This came out of nowhere. A new CGI Resident Evil? Featuring Leon once again, mind you. I thought Vendetta was a decent closure. Still, as long as it isn't like Infinite Darkness, I'm in. Glad to see Chris & Jill. And, of course, Leon's hair is perfect.
