With the recent news of a supposed Skies of Arcadia remaster, I've been listening to this. Good were the times when I was teaching in classrooms with this on the background while preparing my classes. Best game not many people have played? Indeed.

Almost ten years later, I finally own Mario Kart 8. I had played it before on Switch but on WiiU it looks just about the same, which is amazing. Playing on an 20 CRT TV is great. Old games look like they were supposed to, and newer ones look crisp as well

Another series of posts I'll be sharing: TV shows I've been watching this year. #1 TV Show of 2023 is: The Last Of Us. The game was ok, overrated if you ask me, but this didn't do it for me. I hope to play the 2nd game before next season airs. 2.5/5.

New series of posts here: movies I have watched as the year goes, plus a few thoughts. So: #1 Movie of 2023 is Megan. The marketing this movie had seriously got many thinking this would be a waste of time, and believe me, it is not. 3.5/5. Had its moments

#20 Game beaten in 2023 is: Zelda Breath of the Wild. It's true what they say: the feeling of the very 1st game on the NES is very present here, alongside the wow factor from Ocarina of Time. Bosses could have been harder, but this is a triumph. 4.5/5.

Trophy Unlocked: have been working for one year in an online English academy. The complete freedom that I have when teaching is something I wouldn't trade for the world. Using Mario as a final boss/final activity during level 1's last oral exam is great.

Gotta admit I was afraid 'All Quiet on the Western Front' would win best picture, but it was a very well balanced show between this and the ultimate winner: 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'. Brendan Fraser did it: He won. It was a nice watch.

Found him. Taking my time with this game really pays off. Still ways to go as I just have 9 heart containers and haven't found the forest where the master sword is, mind you. Still, I'm a shrine fan already. Figuring out what to feels good.

Instagram reminded me of the photo on the left a few days ago, so here's a 'then & now' thingy. 11 years old back then and 28 years ago now. PS: I'm not from Argentina. I'm from Venezuela, just in case.

I bought a WiiU and now the console is facing an issue if it hasn't been used for 5 years. Good thing that isn't, and won't, be a problem on my end. Still sad to know, though. On the bright side: BOTW is amazing. Enjoying my time with the best I can.

#19 Game beaten in 2023 is: Alien Isolation. Seeing this game in a variety of lists got my attention, so I went to watch the first 2 movies. They are great, and the intention to bring that feeling here was present. Hit and miss, but appreciated. 3/5.

#18 Game Beaten In 2023 is: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. This is practically the Duodecim of the 1st one, but it doesn't feel like an improvement. The visual novel mode plays the same so no, thank you. At least I now know where 'Tsukuyomi' comes from. 3/5.

I know using remote play with a PS3 & Vita is hit and miss, but I'm enjoying my time with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. I managed to beat MK vs DC this way. Gotta finish up some games I've started before buying the WiiU to give Zelda the time it so deserves.

Following my tradition of buying a new console every two years that I haven't yet owned, here I welcome the Wii U. PS: I am still saving up for a Switch. 2nd PS: All of this for 70$? I couldn't resist. That WiiU Pro Controller is beautiful.

Insert Luigi's celebration quote: "Oho" we're back. Also, I finally had the chance to watch the movie 'The Whale'. Even though it's good with strong performances, not only that of Fraser's, the content may not be for most people. Still, an emotional one.

Loving the movie a lot, and knowing that my brother has the copy of the game since it came out in 2006, here I am playing Scarface. My first GTA-like experience. I'm glad it's with this game. Listening to the licensed music brings up my latino side.

Saw 'Scarface' today for the 1st time. It had been on my to watch list for years and now not only I can say I was missing out, but that this earned its spot of my ongoing top movies of all time. This is a master class of cinematography. Top movies on pic.

#17 Game beaten in 2023 is: Demon's Souls. As shown, this was GameSpot's GOTY in 2009 when I used to blog there. I was intrigued and seeing Atlus only amplified that. I congratulate me for playing this now. 5/5. Feeling Ocarina of Time's greatness again.

Screenshot from Persona Q2's ending. Just wanted to share the message and wish you all a Happy Valentine's day, whichever way you celebrate it if you do. And if you not, then this message doesn't hurt. It also reminds how cool this community is for us.

Funny how I have reached 500 posts here when I thought no social media-like site would ever convince to. Even funnier is that I wanted to celebrate the feat with a selfie and turns out today is #SelfieSunday so, great. You guys are worth my time online.

#16 Game beaten in 2023 is: Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe. People had told me this wasn't good, but I needed to try for myself. They were right. There is fun to be had being a fan of both licenses, but the flaws are everywhere. 2.5/5. MK9 was much needed.

Ghost Trick for Switch? So glad more people are going to be able to play this gem.

#15 Game beaten in 2023 is: Infamous. Continuing my streak of playing new genres, Infamous convinced me into the 'open world' one. This game's creativity sure had me plugged in, though that saving system is not well implemented. 4/5. Cole is a badass.

This came out of nowhere. A new CGI Resident Evil? Featuring Leon once again, mind you. I thought Vendetta was a decent closure. Still, as long as it isn't like Infinite Darkness, I'm in. Glad to see Chris & Jill. And, of course, Leon's hair is perfect.

Was only able to play a bit during small intervals of time due to work during week days, but I have finally defeated this boss in Demon's Souls. I'm losing a lot, which I like because I learn how not to mess it up next time. Loving the atmosphere.

I'm currently 28 years old. Come May 10th and I'll level up.

Favorite color: green.

Favorite number: 4.

Favorite video game genre: Survival Horror. RPGs come second.

Favorite movie: 13 going on 30.

And, that's about it for now.
