Great, just what my job managing an optical office needs, a new COVID variant with pink eye like symptoms

need to buy a switch power adapter before my wife gets TotK, otherwise I'll never be able to play my MHGU.

"This is a Bust" by Ed Lin, is about an Chinese-american cop caught between his race card being used as a token for NYPD in Chinatown and the community he cannot seem to fit into. Of course, Hollywood would just make a movie called "Marshall Law!"

Started playing MHGU on switch. Just bought it and already in love with the classic formula again. Much more comfy to play than 4u was on the 2ds, and I put some 120+ hours on that thing. Trying out the insect glaive, avoided it last time around

Aw shit happy birthday Occam's, I'm getting my goblin in in your honor!

I hope y'all are having a great Friday. Getting paid to poop rn, so #pooptoid I suppose, then I'll be weekending in 20 mins! Going to a goblin farmers market tomorrow, hoping to get something gross!

Been going through ng+ in Elden Ring, p much steamrolling everything, but not using my mimic teat for shardbarers, and finally met a challenge with Radahn, ofc. But every other enemy I've met dies or melts in a few hits, bosses too. Margit was so easy!

god damn i miss this game. quick, satisfying trial-&-error gameplay. It rewards your skill once you learn each section by extending your time limit, which starts as soon as that ghost appears, it follows the same path, if it reaches you, game over.

yo wtf happened to google.com? what happened to the simple search look? wtf is all this visual garbage?

could the mario movie have worked with just Mario going Yahoo and Wahaa everytime he opened his mouth, for those that saw the film? I havent seen it yet

Thanks, From Soft. I never, in a million years, would have thought losing on purpose would lead to a new game + of sorts. I only discovered it by reading a gamefaqs and it being mentioned (getting -50k debt in-game)

renfield was seen by my eyeballs. soy drunk. era muy bueno. It was a fun movie, that maybe had just enough nic cage to get by, but could have used maybe 15 minutes more of Nic Cage. not but seriously fuck toxic bosses, and i left the movie feeling joy.

Off to see Renfield soon! I'll let you know how it goes down later. Or not!

A few moments into Armored Core for psc and holy shit this is a dire future to live in. And my first 2 contracts are immediately unethical: eliminate squatters or eliminate striking workers

After jumping through many hoops, i have finally become the owner of Fatal Frame 3 (PS2), Misadventures of Tron-bonne(PSX), Armored Core(PSX), Tormented (psx), and some coco and cream ps2 co-op game with bunnies, now all on my ps3. woo hoo

so whats cool about Armored Core? But what is the gameplay loop of the series? mission/shop/upgrade and then go to 3d level and complete objectives? pew pew pew and kablooie? lots of side-strafing and missing shots from videos ive seen

you know what's dystopian? owing $1000 on a car a relative killed themselves in

qtoid borked. i cant see anyone's comment on a post. i can see there are 4 comments in a post, but clicking it shows nothing and lies, saying i can be the first to comment.

Hades update: Made it to Hades in round 40! killed me, but i got him about a 1/3 of his hp down.

Haven't played Elden Ring in almost 2 days! Been picking up Hades and Cuphead, recently. Just beat the funhouse level w/ cars in the latter, and still can't get past Elysium in the former. One day I'll beat it before Hades 2 releases

Using almost any app on the xbone is one of the most infuriating experiences. Things don't get highlighted, white text on white boxes, and other horrible UI affronts. It feels so dystopic.

Happy Friday y'all, hope you are enjoying the RE4's and Diablo4's and whatever else. Going to a cherry festival tomorrow, but without the petals showering over everyone bc the weather sucks thanks to humans. Should still be fun tho!

ok i finally saw what pizza tower is about. me do want?

not sure if any of yall have fucked much with Berried Alive, but ive been loving their shit a lot lately, especially their latest album. love the hiphop beats, pop production, and guitar shredding mixed all up.

About cockaroachone of us since 5:06 PM on 10.15.2009

My favorite games meld music, art, and gameplay to enhance one another, elevating the product to something beyond mere "consumption"; it's an experience. Not everyone will like them, but they do gain a passionate following. Sorry if anything I said sounded pretentious, I am trying to be sincere. I love music and art, I've dabble in both for over 20 years now, so I appreciate games that put love into their art assets, animations, character design, level design, music, sound design, storytelling, and voice acting, even if the gameplay is simplistic (as long as it's fun!). These games also tend to feel nice- the control has a certain snap to it, enhanced by the visual and audio cues. This list may be biased towards my adolescence and childhood favorites from the SNES and N64/PSX days, so bare with me: you will see a lot of retro favorites. If your favorite is not on the list, it's probably because i didn't play it as a child/adolescent, or as an adult, for that matter.

In a somewhat random order:
Chrono Trigger
Super Smash Bros Melee
World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla)
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Portal
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Dark Souls
Demon's Souls
Bloodborne
MGS:Revengance
Banjo Kazooie
Katamari Damacy
Shadows of the Colossus
Doom
Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Super Meat Boy
Donkey Kong Country
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Human Fall Flat
World of Horror
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Super Mario Odyssey
