Things seem like shit and then a beacon of light hits you. Les Claypool and his Frog Brigade are touring this summer, and when they stop by ATL, they'll be touring with Adrian fucking Belew. Holy shit I am excite

Y'all are making me want a steam deck.

Fuck Brian Kemp. Fuck Cop City. This shit is terrible and fucking depressing me worse than my step brother's death. Like, everything surrounding Cop City, a project of at least $60 Million, just feels so unstoppable.

With MS (trying to) buying ActiBlizz, the only way this deal might pass thru is if after the merger, COD is divested from them and made its own thing. Maybe. Just #mytwoasspennies

I posted this in response to Mullon:Cockaroach's top 5 waifu/husbando list: 1. Ranni -Elden Ring 2. Wolf- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 3. Raiden- Metal Gear Revengeance 4. Blacksmith- Dark Souls 5, Tharja- Fire Emblem: Awakenings

welp, my coproration just laid off what seems to be their whole district manager division. I don;t know if my regional managers are affected as well, or if they are the new district manager. fucking hell, she was a great mentor.

Hope yall have a fine, funky ass evening

Beat Malenia, RL 156 or something, last night, for the first time. I think i died more to Astel, Stars of Darkness. I also lucked out and she barely used Waterfowl Dance, and i kept staggering her in both phases w/ Eloanora's Poleblade and my mimic tear

so my wifey and their bff are gonna watch Wolf Cop tonight, and apparently there's a transformation scene that starts dick first?!? That's all i need to know. Edit: can confirm, it's a great fucking film. Do recommend.very surprising.f

Djennng doom doom doom. Djennng Doom doom doom. Djennng doom doom doom. Djeng chuggachugga djeng djeng djennng Doom doom doom. *moshes*

This made me lol has this been posted before? The hotdog killed me

Gfx cards have had the dumbest naming conventions since the 90's

Playing random folks in Elden Ring's arenas via Duels is the most fun ive had with this game so far. No ranking. No skillboards. No Kill streaks. lotsa Fashion Souls and theme builds. no rivers of blood in sight. and often i rematch with same folk.

Damn. Gangsta Boo dead at 43. First discovered her music through Run The Jewels, since then she was one of my favorite female emcees, no , fave emcees period. Keep getting that head in the next world, girl

I'm also back into Elden Ring and picked up my old char and completely respecced, from a str/int hybrid w/ radhans swords, to a dual katana poison dex/arc mushroom man who farts and uses dragon breath(of farts)

so Star Ocean is basically weeb Star Trek. I'm kinda into this world. stupid as all hell, but really fun. Thus is my review for Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. I've only just scratched the surface of this plot. i also turned off the voice acting

hearing and watching markiplier and his mom playing FNAF:SL is one of the best things i've seen in the last 12 months.

I don't have a top 10 list. Suck it, trebek

ah, finally, the thing for the thing

My XMAS haul this year. it's like it was 2004 or something. Biggest surprise for me was the animal crossing for GCN. The spouse really delivered. And their little doodle of Toto K.K. is too cute. Demon Stone is surprisingly fun.

Woof. What a week. Just waiting for this year to end, but next week should be better. Celebrating our dead bro's bday tomorrow w/ family, Xmas will be trans skate club meet, and monday, im off, paid, so looking forward to unwind and enjoy the weekend

what is the C in CRPG? Character or Computer RPG? Oh google now tells me it's "Classic RPG". *annoyed Jojo sound*

Steam really needs to get with the program and do some sort of yearly recap like every other gaming platform..mindless it does and I'm missing something

About cockaroachone of us since 5:06 PM on 10.15.2009

My favorite games meld music, art, and gameplay to enhance one another, elevating the product to something beyond mere "consumption"; it's an experience. Not everyone will like them, but they do gain a passionate following. Sorry if anything I said sounded pretentious, I am trying to be sincere. I love music and art, I've dabble in both for over 20 years now, so I appreciate games that put love into their art assets, animations, character design, level design, music, sound design, storytelling, and voice acting, even if the gameplay is simplistic (as long as it's fun!). These games also tend to feel nice- the control has a certain snap to it, enhanced by the visual and audio cues. This list may be biased towards my adolescence and childhood favorites from the SNES and N64/PSX days, so bare with me: you will see a lot of retro favorites. If your favorite is not on the list, it's probably because i didn't play it as a child/adolescent, or as an adult, for that matter.

In a somewhat random order:
Chrono Trigger
Super Smash Bros Melee
World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla)
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Dark Souls
Demon's Souls
Banjo Kazooie
Katamari Damacy
Shadows of the Colossus
Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Super Meat Boy
Donkey Kong Country
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Human Fall Flat
World of Horror
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Super Mario Odyssey
Metal Slug 3
Tokyo Jungle (an odd one, for sure, but i love it so)
