Copyright man...

So, the weirdest thing has happened. Brother was going through some old stuff and sends me a video or an old kids toy playing some music. I recognise the tune. Like it's driving me mad. He knows it as well but not from where. Bubsy. It's from Bubsy. How?

Oh America...

Here's a handy lil video comparing Sonic's music from the original release to the ones used in Origins. The new ones are bad man, like bad bad.

Well I am sad. I ordered a pricey Pac-Man statue and it arrived with a defect (bubble on it). My dad also ordered one, same issue, is being sent a replacement. They're offering me 20% off my next purchase. What utter BS.

You know, with how much Sega are asking for Sonic Origins and it's weird DLC/Premium packages - you'd think they'd be able to come to some form of agreement about Sonic 3's music. Music is a big part of nostalgia, more important than wide-screen to me.

Happy Pride from York

Ctg867 - Kenobi is good.

What's in the box?

People of America: what is this Coke with Coffee?

That new Team Ninja Game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty just got a PS4/5 trailer and thus isn't an Xbox exclusive for those worried.

Capcom stream is a rollin' for those interested

You, yes you, I love you. God damn love you all.

Sci-fi Horror Fest was a-ok

This project is no longer retired. Aka Your Favourite Martian is back.

Finally got round to Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. Quality game. Honestly Wonder Boy must be like the best series no one talks about.

I missed the Sony, and yet, I missed nothing?

It's Sonic time!

163 mass shootings in the United States between 1967 and June 2019. That's 3 mass shootings on average a year.

The Tallneck is available again on the Lego site in the UK, might be worth checking the US one as well.

I'm really hoping Sony pulls out PSP's Killzone Liberation, complete with online multiplayer alongside this new Plus service. (I brought a PSP headset for that game).

I know it's hardly the worse thing in the world but one of my favourite breweries, Kelham Island (based in Sheffield), has closed and it makes me very sad I'll never drink Pale Rider again. A lot of good memories with that beer.

So... I'm guessing the upvoting lady bots are back?

About Goemarone of us since 12:05 AM on 06.27.2017

I started as a massive Nintendo fan. I had a SNES before, but it was really the N64 I got on my 10th birthday that really got me into gaming. I stuck with Nintendo pretty much exclusively until the DS rolled out and I played NSMB - man I hated that game. It looked awful, sounded awful and was so easy it was hardly worth paying attention to what you were doing.

The PSP and Monster Hunter stole away hundreds of hours of life and that's when I really started to look at Sony. I had missed great games like Okami, God of War (it was cool at the time), Gradius V and Metal Gear Solid

With the promise of Metal Gear Solid and Monster Hunter on the PS3 I snagged one as soon as I was able. In the long wait (and Monster Hunter jumping to Nintendo...) I picked up Uncharted. My god, what a game! And more followed - Uncharted 2 was excellent, Catherine, Rayman Origins, The Last of Us - man the PS3 was amazing. Yes I still played the 'essential' Nintendo titles (and spent hours on my 3DS when Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate landed - and 100s more on Generations) but the PlayStation had become my main shabang for modern gaming.

I'm also a huge retro fan. Having loved the games I played as a kid, and discovering the earlier titles in franchises I loved - but it was really when I got into sprite ripping and the world of emulation that I truly discovered all there was out there on offer.

Top 10 Games:

Metal Slug X
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Frogs and Flies
Doom (2016)
Mother 3
Day of the Tentacle
