Finished Cadence of Hyrule, wasn't too shabby! Was dissapointed the dungeons weren't proper Zelda dungeons, but it's a Crypt game first, according to the name. There is some interesting post game stuff that I'm not sure if I want to get into just yet.

The man on the left appears quite enlightened by his brothers johnson.

Who has two thumbs?

Did you all hear the news??? The last Metroid is in captivity! The galaxy is healing <3

I've never finished DKC 2, having another go at it through the Switches online thing. Reminded me of this classic

Made it through level 5 of Thumper and enjoyed it. It felt easier than level 4, but probably just a mood thing.

Think I found a new favorite novelty jigsaw, the Impossibles series from Bepuzzled. No defined edge, 5 extra pieces, and a repeating background that isn't shown completely on the box. Don't think they are still being made though.

Just noticed the BotW 2 trailer is titled "Sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild". Wonder what the eventual title will be.

Looking for interesting jigsaw puzzles for my Dad's birthday, he had a knee replacement last month and he's a fan of em. My favorite that I've found is a crime mystery. No reference, the image is the solution to the crime story included in the box.

It is kinda funny that Prime 4 was announced as a logo E3 2017 to get people hype for the Switch, and Samus Returns was also announced to release later that year. Now we are getting Dread this year from the same devs and we still only got that logo for P4

My highlight of E3 this year is easily Rabbids. The original is probably the most fun I've had on my Switch. Highlight for me from the Ninty direct is new/old Advance Wars. As for Prime 4, take your time Retro, we know you've got it where it counts.

Saw someone asking about Katana Zero dlc news, so I went looking myself. Found a pretty recent update from the devs tumblr, no release date but it's definitely coming along. https://blog.askiisoft.com/

Is anyone else having trouble commenting on articles? Like, not a disqus issue, but typing out a comment on mobile. I'll type in characters and they won't appear and it's just super laggy.

Picked up Sayanara Wild Hearts. I think it's my antidote to Thumper.

Average Dtoid user

Thumper is too hard. Thought I would adjust the SFX so I could hear the audio cues better, but the game doesn't give you that option, at least on Switch. Seems like a real boner on the devs part.

I often hear this song in my head, except I almost always replace "minimum wage" with "videogames"

Picked up an Animal Crossing edition Switch, MH: Rise, a Pro Controller, and Astral Chain was on the cheap so I bought that too. Should I get a screen protector, y'all think?

Sonic Mania 2 when?

Played through Celeste on a keyboard. Just the main story, and a few strawberries shy. Getting a controller tomorrow, and I'm thinking about learning to speedrun it.

What about old Mario. I've never seen old Mario in a Nintendo game before. Nintendo, we want old Mario.

Since I can't comment on the E3 article because disqus sucks: Mega Man 12 or X9. 11 was fine, but felt a little cheap, and I hated how every. single. stage. had a mini boss.

Going to pick up a Switch next week and looking for a nice meaty game to get me through my excruciating seasonal job. Frontrunners are MH:Rise, Xenoblade Definitive Edition, and Fire Emblem 3 Houses. Opinions, gentry?

How's Rise, as someone that's never really played MH? I tried to play Tri years ago but not for long.

Considering getting a Quest 2 to play Beat Saber. The Facebook thing sucks but I do have a fb, and I don't have a rig or the space for some other VR headset.
