Since we do periodically get hidden gems revived from time to time these days, I second this. Also Cubivore, Chibi Robo, a Viewtiful Joe Collection, Shadow Hearts Collection, Max Payne Trilogy, Shinobi/Nightshade, the Gamecube Pokémon games...

It's becoming increasingly obvious WB is concerned about Gotham Knights flopping because they keep spoiling their own game. Way too much, "Maybe this will convince you...please?" energy surrounding that game.

I can't believe I'm saying this and I know I'm going to get shit for it, but I feel like Square Enix is releasing too many JRPGs. They are oversaturating the market. So many of them look too similar as well and they kinda all blending together.

Idk what's up with Youtube these days, but they've been recommending me a lot of interesting videos from small channels instead of just trying to force feed me generic dreck all the time. Been refreshing.

Grand Theft Auto: Gotham City

Apparently the London police caught the kid that hacked into Rockstar and leaked GTA6. I do not envy him. He's in for some hell.

Bet you thought all the bread posts were over, didn't ya?

A future Pokémon Legends game should include the original idea for Wartortle's evolution. It would be neat to use a scrapped idea in such a way and would also just fit into the era better than "Turtle-but-tank."

Tried out the Jack Move demo on Switch. The RPG mechanics are pretty solid and the writing (while a bit trope-y and generic) is solid as well. Nice graphics too. Think I'm gonna nab the full game while its still on (a slight) sale.

Came back to Legends Arceus after many months because a friend only recently got into it and he reignited my interest. Ended up catching three more shinies in two days. Completely randomly. One ran right up to me like, "Here I am, bitch."

Capcom's doing a thing.

I also apologize for clogging up qtoid today but I ran into this video and thought it was interesting. Fishing mini-games are up there with being able to pet animals as things that will endear me to a game.

John Wick Santa Claus.

So how long til the Yakuza Dead Souls remake/port?

I'll be at work for the State of Play so here's my predictions for that: Sony will show off waaaaaay too much of Ragnarok, Days Gone Remastered, they'll add PS1/2 games no one remembers to that new PS+ thing, and finally a look at Spider-Man 2.

I genuinely never expected to see another Theathrhythm game again so I'm pretty glad to be wrong. Also was pretty happy with most of what was shown. That weird Rain Code detective game looks neat. Have to keep an eye on that one.

Direct predictions time: No Pokémon news (we've had plenty recently), Splatoon 3's expansion will already be teased, the next Mario Kart 8 tracks revealed (still no Gamecube tracks), Gameboy/GBA Online apps with a new $70 tier, still no BotW2.

Sorry UK Dtoiders, the Queen croaking apparently means you don't get to see tomorrow's Nintendo Direct.

These are my current go-to snack. Fucking hell these are amazing.

Fangamer new has Psychonauts merch. I know the series has fans here and I don't want anyone to miss out.

I had a burger with cheese, brisket, fried jalapeños, barbecue sauce, and a fried egg on it with a side of french fries and fried pickles and a Cocoa Pebbles milkshake. I shall never need to consume food again.

Yet another "How the fuck did I miss this one?" that got lost in the Gamescom shuffle.

This is 100% what I consider to be a perfect game for Halloween (if like me, actual horror stuff is too much for you). Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, clever writing, and just oozing with charm. For this price, it's a steal.

Super Mario Bros. 3 was the very first game (I remember) playing. Since then I have been a big fan of the medium.

I'm an avid gamer and aspiring writer. RPGs and platformers are my bread and butter, but I'm also a fair action/adventure guy too. Really there are no genres I outright dislike, just individual games. Every game genre offers something different, and I've come to love the variety. I feel the same way with comics, movies, manga, etc. Not really hung up on "genres", I just like what I like, and I don't care what genre it is.

Recently I've been trying to "break out of my shell" by getting out of my comfort zone and trying things I normally would not. Because of this I have discovered lots of new games, books, manga, shows, and movies that I now love. I do my part now to try to help others expand their horizons and get out of their own familiar space and try new things.

Destructoid has been a big help in getting me to broaden my horizons, and interact with more people outside my familiar circle of friends and acquaintances. I've come to love this site, and look forward to sharing more with you knuckleheads.
