Maybe "dynamic" is the wrong word, bit I really enjoy the Mario Kart Tour tracks. I like how they change up every lap, so you're never doing the same race twice. I really appreciate tracks that mix things up like that.

Ms. Marvel was a fun, if flawed show. Kamala is great, I like the themes of family, and the cultural focus is nice too. But the rest of the show kinda sucks? The story structure, the villains, the main goal....everything felt kinda aimless.

Resident Evil on Netflix is EASILY the best live action adaptation of the series (not a high bar admittedly), and, imo, did something the games never did successfully: create a compelling, ongoing narrative after the events of Raccoon City.

Watching Resident Evil on Netflix. Enjoyable, but man. I hate it when someone does something unreasonably stupid, or ultra conveniences happen to push things along. This show unfortunately has developed a habit of doing that.

Pet peeve: including legacy games in "best of" lists because they were first. There are some games, like Chrono Trigger or FF6, that absolutely stand the test of time. Games like The Legend of Zelda or Metroid were pioneers, but should not be included

Was Obi Wan as good as I wanted it to be? No. Was it as bad as everyone says it is? Hell no. It was a solid show with some really crowd pleasing moments,a few stumbles, but ultimately did Obi Wan, Vader and others justice. I'd take another season.

Star Wars "fans" can be hard to stomach sometimes. Its often a question whether or not they actually enjoy the series. Obvious racist bs aside, they were spot on about Reva in Obi Wan. Episode 5 was her big moment, and goodness. It was awful.

I can't get my hopes up, because Bethesda, but Starfield kinda sorta looks really good? Pleasantly surprised and intrigued I think. Still. Cautiously optimistic for sure. Very cautiously.

So, TLOU Part 1 is barely a remake. Lol. It looks like just a remaster of the remaster. Somehow that makes it even MORE unnecessary. The original holds up. The remaster holds up even more. Why does this even exist?

And of course, I missed the Xenoblade 3 Special Edition. Whose idea was this???!!!!!!

RE4 is on sale on both my ps5 and Switch. With the remake announcement, I think it might be time for a replay.

My biggest "concern" with RE4 Remake seems to be the lack of cheese and campiness. It was a defining element of the original. The remakes of 2 and 3 did something similar, so I understand the direction. I just can't take a Salazar too seriously

To my surprise, The Calisto Protocol is the game that has me the most excited. It looks like a brand new Dead Space, and it looks amazing. As does SF6, surprisingly? I was impressed. Equally surprising, FF16 did nothing for me.
