TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

This week was good! Gf and I opened 1 gift early. She got me the boardgame Life Super Mario version! I actually love these boardgames from my childhood and still have a blast playing them, so I look forward to playing this with her this weekend haha I got her a nice rice cooker since she's been begging for one for awhile now and she loves it so that's good. Looking forward to her seeing the other loot I got her this year.

This Saturday, we're going to her sisters house to have an early Christmas celebration with her family. Play some weird games and just enjoy eachothers company. Should be fun. Plus, there'll be food! Always a plus!

I played and beat the new High on Life game from the weird Rick and Morty creator. I don't like the show at all, but I actually really enjoyed this game. When it isn't being stupid and forcing teen humor of dropping the F bomb every two seconds because they think it's cute and funny for some reason, it's actually really enjoyable. The humor outside of that stuff is actually pretty messed up and great. Gameplay was fun as each weapon has it's own personalty and is actually really fun to use in and outside of combat. Story was enjoyable and exploring the alien worlds was fun. Good Game Pass game.
