TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

This was a pretty slow week at work. But good news is next week I start working from home 4 days out of the week! It's finally here! I'm fucking pumped! Going to save a bunch of money on gas and I'll just have a lot more energy. Really looking forward to it.

So just yesterday, my PS5 finally arrived! I finally landed one of these rare beasts! Played Astro's Playroom and what an adorable little game that is. Just a cute throwback to the history of Playstation while also showing off the new controller. It was definitely really fun. Not sure what I'm going to play next but I'm mostly waiting for the new subscription service to drop so I can just subscribe to that. They have like 10 exclusives that I missed out on available on the service day one. So I'm definitely taking advantage of that.

We watched the new Dr. Strange movie last weekend and I mostly loved it! There was of course some silly moments in the movie that I didn't care for a whole lot but overall, it was a really fun movie. Halfway through the new season of Stranger Things and it's one hell of a ride. Really loving this season.

No big plans for me this weekend. Get some chores done, hangout with the gf and pups a bit and check out the PS5 a bit more.
