TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

So last weekend, the gf and I went to go see our new house being built in progress. It was pretty sweet to actually get a look at where our new home would be, what the entire unbuilt neighborhood looks like now, and what it will look like when it's all finished. The foundation is up and we pretty much got to see what the gutted house looks like as it's still pretty early in development. I'm actually happy we visited so early as I think it's going to be pretty awesome keeping up with the progress of the build. We plan on visiting every month unti it's finished.

We're both incredibly excited to see what it looks like a month from now. The estimated completion date is still sometime in April but there's of course a chance it will be pushed back a little which we're honestly fine with as we just went month to month at our current location.

This week wasn't bad. It went pretty quickly for me actually. Before I knew it, it was Thursday and I was looking forward to my day off to write another TGIF. The new job is going well. Still learning, but I'm grasping everything much better now. Almost everyone in my new office is close to getting their 2nd dose of the vaccine, which makes me a lot more comfortable not only for myself, but those around me as well. Numbers continue to rise and our hospital is still constantly close to maximum capacity, at times exceeding it. Stay safe everyone!

Today, I plan on enjoying my day off with Hitman 3 that finally arrived. But not by Amazon, those bastards. I canceled that order as they haven't given me a single update on a potential shipping date, so I just ordered it from Walmart and it arrived that same day lol Not before I take our older gentlemen pup to the vet to get his butt looked at. He has a small mass that we need to get checked out. We did our research and it looks like it might not be anything to serious, but we definitely want to jump on it before it turns into a worse situation. Keep our pup in your hearts and minds, he's going to have his butt played with all day.

I also plan on playing the Medium when it gets dark because fuck yeah I plan on playing that game. I played for like 30 minutes last night, but I was tired from the long week so I just went to bed haha The gf and I are on season 6 of our revisting Game of Thrones journey and we still love the show. We actually look forward to getting to season 8 so we can poke fun at the moments we don't like. Especailly the battle scene that should have been amazing but was to damn dark for anyone to see lol We also started to rewatch the Marvel movies and we're going to be doing so in chronological order, soooo that's another long, long journey for us to revisit again haha
