TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

Covered in the Emergency Department yesterday so I'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with the gf today by cooking up some ham and other goodies. That's after we do some house hunting. We're meeting with the realtor today and he's going to show us some houses in our price range. Exciting and stressful but it has to be done. Hopefully we can find something more then a trailer in our pirce range lol.

Normally I do a bunch of online shopping on Black Friday but not this year. Saving money for the down payment and all that. So I only bought a few early Christmas gifts for the gf. Hope everyone is able to snag a bunch of goodies for dirt cheap!

Remember last weeks Covid scare? Thankfully, it was just a scare. We really dodged a bullet there as it was a close call. The family is doing better and only a few showed somewhat bad symptoms. Everyone is starting to feel better though so I'm grateful for that. That said, I feel bad celebrating a negative test when people in this community have tested positive ya know? I'm happy we're safe but it's still a sad situation. Stay safe everyone. Numbers are ramping up and if you were to walk some of the hospital halls and see just how many admitted patients are in isolation, it would scare you a bit. It legit looks like something out of a movie.

Other then house hunting, I have a skate date with the gf. Going to find an empty area for her to practice a bit more. That and just relax and get some gaming in. I've felt tired for the last few weeks as all the shit going on is just exhuasting. Think I'll sleep a day away haha.
