TGIF Open Thread!

Good morning Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!!!

Oh and what a week it's been! Idk why, but my patience was running thin this entire week. People seemed to shed their polite masks and go full blown asshole all week and I've wanted to slap the shit out of them for it. I will never understand what compels people to be a complete asshole to a stranger for absolutely no reason. But whatevs. It's my weekend now. Going to drink gallons of coffee, relax and let the nice Chrono rise back to the surface.

There's talk about a potential big raise across the board for all employees in my field at the hospital. Which is good, because at the moment, the pay is no longer competitive with multiple jobs in the same field. The pay isn't bad at all, but if I can go to a new hospital and get $2 more starting out, it's difficult to not consider even if I mostly enjoy my job and most of my team.

No big plans this weekend. Going to get some shopping done. Spend time with the gf and fur babies and set up a home office for the gf's new job. She's pretty excited she gets to work from home until this pandemic is under control. So we bought her a desk and hopefully it arrives by Sunday because she starts Monday.

Oh, and watch the follow up to the fucking amazing Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House. The new series will be called The Haunting of Bly Manor and if it's even half as good as the first season, I'll love the hell out of it. Really excited to start that later tonight :)
