Love

Love is a funny thing. You don't know how or why it will happen, or who you will fall in love with. Love does not always have to be about a sexual relationship. Love can be friendships or family love. Even loving yourself is very important. But unfortunately what I have noticed in my life is far to many people are so happy and grateful to recieve love and praise but are not as quick and open about giving out love. People are very selfish, and don't get me wrong, there is always a time and place to be selfish. Getting out of a bad, toxic relationship is always a good choice. But why is there always this stigma that people have "What will I get out of it?" "What did that person ever do for me?". 

I am not saying I am perfect and that I willingly give out love to all I know. I can be quite judgemental at times and not the most caring of a person. But I am trying to spread and do more for others to make people feel appreciated. Because I know that just one kind word to someone could completely change their day. Far to many times while I am at work, I will pass one of my coworkers and say "You look really beautiful today" and they always reply with "O-oh well thanks, what do you need?" I didn't need anything, I just wanted to pass the love around.  

I am not writing this to make anyone feel bad or feel like they are not doing enough, but I want you all to really think about the last time you went out of your way to make someone smile or feel good without expecting anything in return. Our society today is always thinking "what will I get out of this?" "How does this benefit me?". Why should everything always benefit you? Shouldn't making someone else feel better or smile make your day better. Life is so much more than material things or getting a better job or making more money. Life is about the relationships we make and the lives we can change while we are here. 

So go out and spread some love. Make new friends, be a better friend. If you see someone in our community that you always enjoy their post or comments, let them know. Let them know that you enjoy having them around! Don't expect everyone to go out of their way for you, the world does not revolve around you, it revolves around all of us. So join in our love and relationships. Relish in the fact that we have eachother. I have not found any community quite like this one, so be proud to be apart of this. Be proud and spread love to all of us. Because you know what, we deserve to love and lift each other up.

We are awesome and I really do enjoy and love you all. You guys have given me a chance to be myself and not be ashamed of that. <3
