RAE - The Return to Dtoid

After a long wait due to education commitments, I am proud to announce that RAE is back after a couple of months hiatus. Guys, these last two months have actually been two of the roughest months of my life, and I was very close to announcing that I would never do any of these posts again after two and a half years (IGN and Destructoid, combined). But I am officially on break from education as of today until the 5th of October, meaning over the course of that period of time, I will do more posts on here than I have ever done in the past two and a half years that I have been a blogger on entertainment sites, with at least 10 posts confirmed to be coming out during that time, with an additional 5 being planned, meaning you guys could see 15 posts over the course of a month, rather than 1 a month, or none for two months. This is amazing for myself as a blogger, actually being able to put this many blogs over a small period of time. After that month, I will have about another month or so focusing on my studies before having a two month break, which will be discussed later on in the year. But people have been asking me the question of what is the future of RAE in general?

Well, the future does look promising, and whilst over the later part of 2015 and in 2016, I will be busy with my studies, I can state that I have plans to reach the near two year goal on Destructoid, that I set when I left IGN shortly after joining Destructoid, meaning I have plans to be still doing this stuff in 2017, which will be a non-study year for me as I will be taking a year off studies to focus on more important things in life. I do apologise for not being active much over the first 6 months that I have been a member of the Dtoid blog group (whatever you guys call yourselves), but over the next 3 months, expect my involvement in this community to rise sharply. I also got asked the question about whether I would join Blogging groups at Kotaku, GameSpot, GameInformer? Maybe in a number of years down the line (2018-2019) but I am very comfortable being here as I like the shift from one place to another and staying at that place for the long-term rather than the short-term.

I have also been approached to return to the IGN Community several times ever since I left there in March of this year, however I have no plans of returning there anytime soon, however, if I did return there, it would be a one-off post or an interview, and whilst I continue to reference them, and actually talk to fellow bloggers through websites like Twitter and Facebook, I have moved on from the IGN Community, and I respect them as they were the first guys I was hanging around with as a blogger. But that was then, this is now, and I have loved every minute of being a part of the Destructoid Community (I am guessing that's wrong, but ah well) and I am looking forward to continuing at Destructoid over the next two, maybe three, maybe even five years, as this Community continues to grow.

I will start my return by putting a post up in the next day or so, addressing the new President of Nintendo, and what he should do to be a great successor to what was Satoru Iwata.

Anyways, enough from me, and have a great day guys
