Been playing a lot of GTA this week. It helps that they are inticing players to come back with double XP and cash missions to make my excessive needs possible. But I've noticed now that when I'm not doing missions I'm either flying a helicopter to get my flying skill up to max or I'm taking a military jet out for a jaunt and taking out fellow players in the game. Now I started off being very forthcoming and nice to all members of the community, then it slowly slid into a weird vigilante style play where I would only hunt down trolls, now it's getting to the point where I will take out other players at random. Is it true that GTA spawns violence? Nah I'm just getting bored outside of missions.
This week is another slow week for PC FNF. Still getting settled into my new house so give me a few weeks to get acclimated and then I will be up for some Friday night garming. Also Jim Carrey for no reason because I don't have a good image this week.
New to Friday Night Fights? It's easy to get involved!
FIRST OFF, READ THIS
Every Friday the Dtoid community gets together to play games online! Friday Night Fights is run completely by the Destructoid community, so feel free to join in someone's game, or host a game yourself!
The planning for FNF starts here in the forums, where community members volunteer to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Steam ID, etc.). Then, every Friday, remininder posts go up in the cblogs followed by a recap post in the front page for last-minute planning.
If you'd like to join a game, just contact the host of the game! If you'd like to host a game, post your details in the following format:
Game Name
Host: Dtoid username
Steam ID: Steam contact info (If you'd prefer to use something other than Steam for people to contact you, please specify here.)
Time: Time (Eastern Please!)Server: (If any)
Password: (If any)
Note: Any other applicable info about the game.
See you online!
