Occam Thoughts: Level Up

Hello.

How have you been?  Well I hope.  Fall is here.  Well, "here" can be relative.   Its here in terms of the calendar but its still entirely too hot in my waking world.  I need it to be overcast and cool so I can wear my hoodie.  Hoodie weather is the best weather.  Ever just walked around your place nude except for a hoodie?  It is, to quote John Waters delightful.

But the image of me walking around nude except for a hoodie isn't why I'm writing today.  Nope.  Not at all.  So please stop thinking about me walking around naked excpet for a hoodie.  That's not why I'm here and its a waste of your valuable time.

Stopped thinking about me with my taut, thick calves clenching and relaxing as I move gracefully around my penthouse suite with the full glory of my raw sex exposed to the soft glow of a full moon?  Did I mention I'm wearing a Jimi Hendrix hoodie and that my hair has some silver in it?  Just a touch along the temples.  Oh and my penthouse suite is actually a flying castle stationed over the Pacific Ocean so the moon is reflecting off the water like a sea of diamonds.  Not sure if we covered that part yet.

I'm glad we could get past that.

Now I'm here today to sort of throw myself a Quinceañera, only instead of a 15-year-old Mexican girl,  I'm more like a 9-year-old Egyptian girl and an 80-year-old black grandmother trapped in the body of a grown man.  I have the honor and pleasure of being part of the community team here.  It would seem that my domain will be the Cblogs and whatever else M. Randal Ashcroft Dixon deems appropriate for me.  This is pretty amazing.

When I think back to all those years ago (5, I think?) and how I knew I liked the people here but had no idea how to integrate myself...Jesus, that feels like a life time ago.  And now, so many decoder rings and Friday Night Fights and a couple of PAX meet ups later and I owe so much to Destructoid.  Being able to give back to the site when it has helped shape and mold me into the person I am, its a real honor.  I want this place to mean as much for you as it does for me.  So if I can help at all, please let me know.  My email address is [email protected].  Feel free to shoot me an email if something's bugging you or if something's awesome.  Same if you have a question or issues and don't want to address it in a public forum.  I'm part of the community and want to see it thrive but I'll need your help.  I'm only one fella and part of a small but lovely community team.  I read the comments and blogs like everyone else but life keeps me all too busy.

So yeah, that's that.  I'm pretty excited going forward cause I fucking love this place and I love y'all.  Also, big ups to Wrenchfarm or Nic as I will have to get used to calling him for getting promoted.  That dude is a word beast and I'm so glad he was brought on board.
