Between the hooplay of new consoles and Mario 3D World, D-toid has been doing a heckuva job trying to keep a spotlight on Tearaway, a charming game released on an under-appreciated system.
But lo and behold, Tearaway is not the only game coming out for the Vita this month! Ys IV: Memories of Celceta is a "remake" of the fourth entry of the long-running action RPG series. Okay, so I'm not entirely sure if it's a "remake"; the original Ys IV was made by another company outside of the series' flagship company Nihon Falcom. In fact, there were, uh, 2 Ys 4's before this one. But this is the first one that was made by Nihon Falcom, and as far as I can tell is a completely new game and does not require any past experience in the series.
If you are craving a new action RPG, this is certainly looking like one you should not miss out on.
