I have finished high school (American translation=...ummm...). Five years of my life, used up towards my studies of GCSE’s and now I wait for my results of my exams. EXAMS. OVER. FOREVER...until September, when I start college. I find it sad to think I’ve spent so much time doing nothing, or wasting it dicking about with my friends drawing “genitalia” in textbooks.
And so, another chapter has closed in my life. Everything, good or bad, has its time to end. The volume of childhood, I guess is over. I’m 16 in a week and a bit, and from there, I guess it starts to get real. I have to start thinking about a job, money, travelling (I’m thinking of doing an international volunteer year after college), but I have finished this volume of my life. No explosions, no daring sacrifices, just a final farewell meal and some photos.
seriously, this show is so friggin awesome But really, this series, actually, this universe is beyond words. And now it’s over, Bioware have finally closed off this trilogy. I’m silently begging them not to close the IP, but Shepard’s part is over (bringing him back would probably just be digging an even deeper hole) and I can now finally come to terms with that. It just needed a goodbye, a reason to stick the trilogy in a frame, hang it on the wall and say “We’re done. We had great times, but all good things come to an end.”
Still though, there’s always multiplayer! And maybe one day, just one day...I might actually get the goddamn Drell I’ve been waiting for since I started. Seriously, Thane was my favourite character.
Also, apologies for the roughness of this blog, but I wasn't able to spend as much time as I would've liked on it, but I wanted to get my point out before this topic became no longer relevant, at least to me.
