I remember the first time I used a mod on Minecraft. I was building a library, and there was one particular section I wanted to build a room for technology. I decided to use Iron Blocks, because they have this really sleek look to them. Around a quarter of the way through, I realised what a serious project this was. See, that's the thing with Minecraft, even the simplest things seem difficult.
9 iron inglets to a block and it takes 1-2 coal to burn through 9 iron ore. My room was well over 50 blocks big. So that's over 450 inglets. Iron Veins come in around 2-6 blocks. This was a huge task for someone as lazy as me. But I was determined to do it. Why? Because when you build things with the effort you've put in, it somehow seems much more rewarding. Unfortunately, as I was spelunking through a cave and dropped into another pit of lava, I finally snapped. I got this.
I'm starting to feel my love for Minecraft return.
P.S Just to re-assure you, I don't actually have feelings for Minecraft.
