Starting June 30th and ending July 10th, Steam is having a "Steam Summer Camp Sale"
. In case you're new to Steam, or an idiot, this is basically the 2011 version of the seemingly yearly Steam Fourth of July celebration. Or as I, and likely others, tend to call it; setting my wallet in fire while things download to my hard drive causing my already unnecessarily huge backlog to swell even further.
For those of you who are "calendar challenged", that means this shit's going on right fucking now
. Notable items on sale for the first day include; Back to the Future: The Game
for $12 Medal of Honor
for $10 Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition
for $7.50 Solar 2
and The Witcher 2
I have to say, I love that Steam does shit like this and it further goes to show that Steam honestly is the top platform in all off video games. It does all of the same things PSN and Xbox Live do, and you don't have to waste 60 bucks a year for something that is meant to be free.
