In a recent interview with Gamasutra, Peter Molyneux opened up and admitted that Fable 3
didn't live up to what he wanted, specifically "all he dreamed it would be"
, and that the middle of the road reviews that the game did receive
are appropriate. "It's hard to be completely honest without offending people; but I know, when I read in the middle of a review that said the quality just wasn't good enough, I actually agree with those reviews."
If I didn't know any better I would have sworm I heard this song and dance before
. Like clockwork, a new Fable
game is in development and Molyneux is out to try and agree with the masses in order to sucker them into buying another round of failed expectations. I bet in a year or two we'll hear good old Peter say that Fable: The Journey
didn't meet his vision because he didn't have enough time to take the game off rails. When is the general public going to finally call him out as a compulsive liar? Source
