Sterling's Nightmare - Sniper: Ghost Warrior Sells 1 Million
In news that is likely going to ruin Jim Sterling's day; City Interactive announced that overall sales of Sniper: Ghost Warrior, a half decent but fairly mediocre shooter, has broken the one million mark and the incoming Playstation 3 version of the game will likely pad that number a little further.
Meanwhile Enslaved: Odyssey of the West, a so-so game nobody seemed to give two shits about but Jim Sterling said was the best thing since sliced bread, is hovering right around the half a million mark last I checked. So yeah I'm still totally optimistic about Capcom giving Devil May Cry, a series that has received mainly good praise and sold well, to a bunch of guys who make so-so games including one that just can't fucking sell.
(Fun fact: Neither Heavenly Sword nor Enslaved's Metacritic or GameRanking's scores are above any Devil May Cry game that isn't DMC2. Smooth move, Capcom)
