[QuickBlog] So I got to be a guest host on Goozex's podcast recently...
Yeah, I really don't know what else to say about that. I mean, I'm sure most of you know what Goozex is, what podcasts are, etc. etc...
Alright, enough snark. A while back, the hosts of the GoozCast put out a call on the Goozex forums for special guests from the community. Even DToid's own Nick Chester joined in on the fun (can't seem to find that episode, but I vaguely remember an interview). Anyway, always one for fame and glory, I humbly requested to join. 12 episodes later, and they get back to me. "Hey, we have a free slot open. You still interested?" Yes, I say, and while I tried to change the roundtable topic from what I suggested 3 months ago, it was still alot of fun. They even expressed interest in having me rejoin the show.
So, yeah, give it a listen. I believe this was the direct download link they gave me (edit: here's an actually working direct download link), and this is their normal iTunes link they tweet out everytime a new episode hits. (Link to their show notes will come when they post them on their forums... muttermutter) I give DToid a couple of subtle nods, blabber on and on about games, and pretty much extend the whole podcast to nearly two hours. I promise good times to be had by all, and if not, then oh, well!

So, what's there to know about me? I'm Dave. I'm currently unemployed. I love baseball (huge Mets fan), but I don't like sports games. I've lived a crazy life. As far as taste in games go, I'm quite varied, playing anything on my Wii, DS, or 360 except for the previous mentioned sports games. I still have my SNES, though, and happily indulge in a bit of Retro-goodness every now-and-then (mostly Earthbound, but I still also have my copies of SMRPG, Super Mario Kart, Link to the Past, and Kirby Super Star). And... that's the main things.
I'm a music nut. I have a Last.FM. Here's a sample:
...Also, I like to play Magic: the Gathering, in case the banner didn't tip you off (the faux-card in the banner was made with Magic Set Editor, by the way). Been playing for almost 7 years now, though I'm on a break from the game due to... budget reasons.
