Videogame Canon, reboot!

It has been almost 2 months since I wrote about the Destructoid Community Videogame Canon reaching an important point in its development. Version 1.0 has now been up for quite some time, but I didn't have a lot of time on my hands in order to write about it. I'm sorry about that, and I hope people now will begin to participate again in the discussions. First, lets see what has changed since last time:

Joseffthered made 2 suggestions, which will be included:

King's Quest (1984) was the first third person adventure game and paved the way for games like Monkey Island.

Shadowgate (1987) came out around the time of LucasArts' Maniac Mansion and was one of the first "point-and-click" adventure games.

These are quite interesting choices. Personally, I have no experience with these games. If you have other suggestions of games that should be included or want to participate in the discussions, head over to the Forum Topic!
