European VC Update: Things That Go Bump in the Night
Its Virtual Console week again, what fine nuggets of past gaming goodness has Uncle Nintendo dropped into our trick or treat bags this halloween? Yes all 3 of this week's games share something of the ghoul and creep about them.
Game 1 - Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse
NES - 500 Points
Yes the 3rd of the Castlevania games hits the VC, after the exploration of Simon's Quest the 3rd game returns to the more linear platforming of the first but has various paths to follow. Buy this one because it will last you a long time.
Game 2 - Devil World
NES - 500 Points
Its a Pac-Man clone, though quite a decent one featuring a cute Bub/Bob style dragon. Maybe worth getting if you have the loose change.
Game 3 - Ghosts and Goblins
NES - 500 Points
Known and Ghosts and Ghouls in America. Yep its one of the most unfairly hard games ever made. Leave it, games do hard much better these days.
Decent week, shame we're back to WiiWare next week. Though there will be Strong Bad Episode 3.
